Anti Aging Diet Care -Kate_Sept2004
Everywhere one looks, there are products which claim to fight the signs of aging. From skin creams and oils to vitamins and makeup, the anti-aging industry is on fire. However, many individuals don’t realize that what they put into their bodies is just as important as what they put on their bodies. The goal of this article is to help inform individuals of the different anti-aging diet care tips they can follow which will help them look young, fresh and revitalized.
Consider Eating Fruits
There is no doubt that fruits are one of the most important anti ageing foods one can eat. There is a reason that it is recommended for individuals to eat four to six servings of fruits per day. They are loaded with vitamins and antioxidants that help prevent the signs of aging and keep individuals looking wonderful. There are some fruits that perform better than others when it comes to anti-aging diet care. Avocadoes are loaded with vitamin E, berries contain powerful flavanoids and antioxidants, and watermelon is full of vitamins and minerals that reduce free radicals and fight the signs of aging.
Consumer More Vegetables
Vegetables are miraculous things, and one can eat as many as they wish in the course of a day without compromising their health or weight. They fight chronic health problems and reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease and stroke. There are other benefits to eating vegetables, including anti aging benefits. Of course, there are some vegetables that are more beneficial in anti aging aspects than others. Green, leafy vegetables are among these, including spinach, greens, kale, broccoli and Brussels sprouts. One should have at least forty ounces of these types of veggies each day.
Include Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Omega 3 fatty acids are wonderful parts of anti-aging diet care, and should be included in everyone’s diet. The most common place to receive these fatty acids is from fish and shellfish or other seafood. However, fatty acids are also present in some nuts, including walnuts. Eating omega 3 fatty acids is a wonderful way to prevent the signs of aging and stop wrinkles, sagging skin, and other age signs in their tracks. Drink More Water
It is no joke that water is amazing for the body. Without water, organs simply cannot function properly. In fact, if the body is deprived of water badly enough, the organs can shut down completely. What most people don’t know is that skin is the largest organ humans possess. By drinking plenty of water on a regular basis, individuals purge their skin of toxins and dirt. This reduces the signs of aging and keeps the skin hydrated, fresh and beautiful. Individuals should drink at least eight full glasses of water each day, and when it’s hot or one is engaging in strenuous physical activity, that amount should be increased. One should speak to their doctor or physician to determine exactly what amount of water is right for them.
Drink Some Red Wine
Believe it or not, red wine can also fight the effects of aging and age-related illnesses. Red wine contains high amounts of flavanoids, or antioxidants that reduce the number of free radicals in the body. Since free radicals are one of the main causes of visible signs of aging, red wine can help in the prevention immensely. To learn more about the health benefits of red wine, visit Longevity.
By consuming the anti ageing foods above and putting forth a conscious effort to maintain a good anti-aging diet care plan, individuals can reduce and prevent the signs of aging.
